  • This video describes the findings of an NIJ-supported study on the prevalence of violence against American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) women and men. The goal of the video was to humanize the data by incorporating music, imagery, artwork, and motifs that honorably represent Native American culture.

  • Conducted extensive research to ensure accurate portrayal of AIAN women and men in order to avoid stereotypes or misinformation

    Curated artwork, photography, and voiceover talent from AIAN artists in order to uplift AIAN joy and creativity

    Led concept and art direction, designed storyboard, and illustrated scenes

    Prepped files for animation once storyboard was finalized, and worked closely with animator on video direction and editing
