I refer to myself as a modern-day hippie who would literally hug trees if I could, but instead I often use them as subjects in my artwork. Whether it’s hiking Dragon’s Tooth at Shenandoah National Park, swimming with the tropical fish in Palawan, Philippines, or just walking through Rock Creek Trail in my backyard, I feel like my truest, most authentic self when I’m immersed in nature.
